To ensure everyone gets to participate, hosts who expect to engage more than ten people for On the Table are encouraged to break participants into multiple conversations.

(To determine that number, you can divide your expected number of participants by 8, the average number of participants in a conversation. Each conversation must have a dedicated host.)

There are a few things we ask all hosts to do. Please read through the host responsibilities and check each box to let us know you're on board:*

Invite 6-10 people to be part of your conversation on Nov. 15. Find a suitable location to host your conversation. Provide some refreshments, ranging from snacks to full meals, for your guests to enjoy. At the beginning of the conversation, share the online survey with your guests and encourage them to complete it (even if this means following up with them after the event). Lead the conversation and take notes or have another participant take notes. Complete the online survey yourself -- we want to hear from you!
